CRASH
CRASH MSDSpro will start up then immediately crash
Data execution prevention (DEP) which is included in windows XP SP2 (default settings do not affect MSDSpro), 2003 and Vista, Can cause MSDSpro Client and server to shutdown on startup. Windows is supposed to generate a dialog stating that the program has been closed by DEP. This dialog is only displayed on about 10% of systems.
To correct the issue.
Right click on My Computer.
Select Properties.
Go to the Advanced Tab.
Click the Performance Settings Button
On the Data Execution Prevention Tab
Either change the setting to Turn on DEP for essential windows programs and services only (Requires reboot)
Or Add the MSDSpro Executable to the exclusion list.

Please try this. Remove the met.* files from the win4dx and plugins folders in the MSDSpro Server folder (or just search the whole folder for that file extension) in the Program files.
You will see at least two of them. These are former plugin files for applications in the previous versions that the current MSDSpro no longer has use for. They're just there. But sometimes these files just cause this type of problem for some reason.
