MSDSpro is unable to use the Provider feature due to the networks use of a proxy internet server. In order to fix this we will have to set up MSDSpro manually to get around this.

1. Go to your Internet Explorer, under Tools-> Connections Tab-> LAN Settings. You should now be at a window with 4 check boxes. The lower 2 checkboxes should be on. Now take note of the Address and the Port Number.
1. Now open up MSDSpro and go to ADMIN-> Special Functions-> Preferences-> TCP/IP Tab. Check the box “connect to internet using Proxy Server” and Fill in the HTTP Proxy field with the address obtained from IE along with the port number. Auto configure button might also work to automatically detect settings if needed.
1. When it comes to the Proxy Server Security Authorization, you might want to check with your IT if you have such securities in place, because you will need to fill this out if you do. If not, then it can be left alone.
1. Restart MSDSpro and Test Provider. Let me know how it goes.
